Introduction to PhilHealth Registration
Under the Universal Health Care (UHC) Act, every Filipino citizen is automatically a member of PhilHealth. However, to avail of hospitalization deductions, you must formally register and obtain a PhilHealth Identification Number (PIN). For informal workers, self-employed individuals, and students, registration can be completed entirely online.

Step-by-Step Online Registration Tutorial
- Open your web browser and go to the official PhilHealth electronic registration page (https://www.philhealth.gov.ph/services/).
- Click on the 'Electronic Registration System' under Member Services.
- Read and accept the Terms and Conditions of the portal.
- Fill out the PMRF fields: Personal Details, Address, Contact Information, and Membership Category.
- Upload scanned copies of your valid government IDs and supporting birth or marriage certificates.
- Review all details for errors (especially your name spelling, birthdate, and spelling of dependents).
- Click submit to finalize. You will receive an email confirmation containing your transaction reference number.
Important Notices for New Registrants
Make sure the email address you register is active and accessible. PhilHealth will send your permanent PIN and registration documents (MDR) directly to this inbox. If your upload is blurry, your transaction will be rejected, requiring a physical visit to a branch.
